Home modifications
Changes that help people keep living well in their own home, whether that's because of age, injury or disability, or because the house no longer suits the way you live.
Accessibility and ageing in place
Work that makes a home safer and easier to use, built to the scope of works, occupational therapist's report or drawings you provide. Typical work includes:
- Bathroom modifications, including level-access showers
- Grab rails and handrails, with the wall framing to carry them
- Wider doorways and changes to door hardware
- Ramps, steps and level access to entries
- Changes to kitchens and laundries for easier use
- Internal layout changes to improve circulation
Smaller alterations
Work that makes a house work better without a full renovation:
- New doors, windows and openings
- Enclosing a patio or verandah
- Carpentry and joinery fit-out
- Small structural alterations
What helps us quote
